3.1Ye keci kāmesu asaññatā janā,All those people with unbridled sensuality,3.2Adhammikā honti adhammagāravā;unprincipled, with no respect for principle,3.3Chandā dosā mohā ca bhayā gāmino,led astray by favoritism or hostility, <j>stupidity or cowardice,3.4Parisākasaṭo ca panesa vuccati.are called ‘an assembly of the dregs’:

4.1Evañhi vuttaṁ samaṇena jānatā,that’s what was said by the ascetic who knows.4.2Tasmā hi te sappurisā pasaṁsiyā;And so those praiseworthy true persons,4.3Dhamme ṭhitā ye na karonti pāpakaṁ,standing on principle, doing nothing wrong,4.4Na chandā na dosā na mohā na bhayā ca gāmino;not led astray by favoritism or hostility, <j>stupidity or cowardice,4.5Parisāya maṇḍo ca panesa vuccati,are called ‘an assembly of the cream’:4.6Evañhi vuttaṁ samaṇena jānatā”ti.that’s what was said by the ascetic who knows.”
