2.1Yaṁ samaṇena pattabbaṁ,The supreme should be attained by an ascetic,2.2brāhmaṇena vusīmatā;a brahmin who has lived the life;2.3Yaṁ vedagunā pattabbaṁ,it should be attained by a knowledge master,2.4bhisakkena anuttaraṁ.a healer.

3.1Yaṁ nimmalena pattabbaṁ,The supreme should be attained by the unstained,3.2vimalena sucīmatā;stainless and pure;3.3Yaṁ ñāṇinā ca pattabbaṁ,it should be attained by a knower,3.4vimuttena anuttaraṁ.who is free.

4.1Sohaṁ vijitasaṅgāmo,I am victorious in battle!4.2mutto mocemi bandhanā;Released, I release others from their chains.4.3Nāgomhi paramadanto,I am a giant completely tamed,4.4asekho parinibbuto”ti.an adept, I am quenched.”

4.5Pañcamaṁ.
