1.1Rājā āha—The king asked:1.2“bhante nāgasena, dhammo tayā diṭṭho”ti.“Venerable Nāgasena, have you seen the Dhamma?”1.3“Buddhanettiyā kho, mahārāja, buddhapaññattiyā yāvajīvaṁ sāvakehi vattitabban”ti.“Throughout their lives, your majesty, disciples should proceed with the Buddha as their guide, the Buddha as the one showing the way.”
